ADDISON, TX, January 14, 2011 /Marriage - Relationships PR News/ -- The law firm of Hiersche, Hayward, Drakeley and Urbach, P.C. is announcing an enhancement in the area of the firm's family law services with the addition of attorney Camille Cooper Scroggins and her collaborative divorce and mediation practice. Ms. Scroggins, who was formerly a shareholder in the firm and who has since maintained a successful solo practice, is re-joining the firm as Of Counsel.
Throughout her 20 years of family law practice, Ms. Scroggins has developed a reputation as being highly skilled at helping divorcing clients achieve creative, customized and mutually beneficial solutions for restructuring their finances and family relationships. Having extensive experience in the areas of Collaborative Family Law, Mediation, and amicable divorces, she emphasizes resolution in private, respectful and business-like settings outside of the courthouse.
Ms. Scroggins is the Past Chairperson and an active member of the Collaborative Law Alliance of Collin County, and currently serves as Program Co-Chair of the Dallas Bar Association Collaborative Law Section. She has written articles and lectured at local, state-wide and international conferences in the area of collaborative law. Because of her high ethical standards and reputation, Ms. Scroggins was selected by her peers to be a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Ms. Scroggins was co-captain of the Varsity Women's Tennis Team and recipient of the Hamilton Award for outstanding senior management student. Her law degree is from Louisiana State University, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. Prior to beginning her private law practice in Texas, she served as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Fred C. Sexton, Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
