With more than 23 years of professional experience, Ms. Duthie specializes in one-on-one counseling. Her area of expertise covers anxiety, anger, depression, divorce, loss and grief, addiction and substance abuse, impulse control, adjustment disorder, child and adolescent disorders, and relationship issues. Prior to taking on her current position, she worked as a probation officer for three years, as a school counselor for four years and as a friend of the court investigator for three years and a counselor for Catholic Family Services for six years. She became involved in her profession because of her own personal life experiences, and considers her ability to understand and meet people's needs to be the key to her success.
Ms. Duthie received her Master's Degree in Agency Counseling in 1988 and her Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Administration from Central Michigan University in 1982. She is a member of the American Counseling Association.
